Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 43ft Wide Beam with residential mooring at Poplar Dock Marina moments from Canary Wharf.

Built in 2004, this boat is a great little houseboat option for an individual or couple as it fits neatly into the lowest band of mooring fees. It is also fitted with an outboard engine which makes it incredibly easy to maintain too so ideal as a first boat.

The interior is nice and bright and It has the advantage of more beam than a narrowboat allowing the owner to fit a full sized double bed and large sofa bed in the living room.

The boat has a gas central heating system and lovely multi fuel stove for those cold winter nights.

This boat is sold with a transferable residential mooring at Poplar Dock Marina which is in a great location for anyone working in Canary Wharf or the City. Blackwall DLR is 5 mins walk from the boat and Canary Wharf Jubilee (and Crossrail soon) is 12 minutes away. The marina is a friendly community of boaters that feels like a quiet village in the heart of this fast-changing part of London.

Current mooring fees are roughly £10,120 p.a. paid upfront, £10,925 paid monthly and the marina will charge a 5% transfer fee (of the sale price).
