Broker's Comments

This is a very nice 40ft Cruiser Stern that has been recently refitted and surveyed. The owner has had the boat for 4 years but is now looking to go up a size to a widebeam. It has been out of the water for the past 12months whilst the majority of the work listed below has been undertaken thus making it easier to view and inspect.

The boatyard £400 crane fee has already been paid for so the new owner can have it lowered into the canal or onto a wagon should you wish it to be transported elsewhere in the country.

Engine Bay:

Engine was removed out of boat to be serviced, overhauled and dressed.
Bay completely stripped back to bare steel, rust protected, undercoated, primed & finished with at least 12 layers of paint.

All pipe work & electrics overhauled & ducted.
Eberspacher hydronic DW5 overhauled & serviced. This is operated via a timer so you can come home to a warm centrally heated boat.

New bilge pump, float switch and display panel fitted.
New Starter battery & new additional Leisure battery installed (3 Leisure in total).
Digital Voltage gauges installed inside boat for peace of mind viewing.
Grease gland relocated on deck for easy access too.

Fuel tank :

Tank has been completely cleaned out and flushed incase of diesel bug, a full tank of fuel is now in place fully treated to prevent diesel bug occurring .
A brand new 20litre Jerry fuel can is also provided.

Rear Deck

Completely stripped back to bare steel, rust protected, undercoated, primed & finished with 2 pack acid / alkali resistant paint.
External rcd waterproof socket installed for ease of use.
New metallic label / badges installed ie "battery isolator below "
New stainless steel louvred vents installed on doors.

Roof

Roof completely stripped back to bare steel, rust protected, undercoated, primed & finished with at least 17 layers of paint.

Central part of roof has been fully anti slipped too for safety.

A brand new 150w solar panel system is installed charging the leisure batteries. The system thus allows for further easy installation of additonal panels if required.

New LED spot lights have been installed front and rear.
New stainless steel / chrome mushrooms installed.
New stainless steel fairleads installed for ease with ropes.
New black / chrome chimney and top hat installed.
New 16mm dia ropes in dark blue colour stowed & ready for cutting to length to suit and use.
New TV aerial & signal booster installed for use with the tv with in built set top box.

Front Deck, Gas Locker & Lockers

Completely stripped back to bare steel, rust protected, undercoated, primed & finished with 2 pack acid / alkali resistant paint.
New stainless steel louvred vents installed on doors.
New horn installed.
New stainless steel water filler cap installed for ease .
New unused 13kg gas bottle installed in gas locker.
New metallic label / badges installed ie "Gas isolator below "
New 12v lights installed just above front door with external switch for safety so can be switched on at night before you board the boat without tripping over.

Windows

All Removed and powder coated, gaskets overhauled and new internal window cills installed .
All windows have a new blackout roller blind fitted internally.

Boat Sides

Sides completely stripped back to bare steel, rust protected, undercoated, primed & finished with at least 17 layers of paint.
New stainless steel foldable foot pegs front & rear .
New stainless steel pump out, vent and water inlets fittings installed.

Hull sides have recieved 6 coats of Hempel (2 Pack ) blackening. This is NOT the cheap crappy bitumen. Just 2 coats give an estimated 4 to 5 year protection.
I have left the boat sides free of any name or graphics so the new owner can place your own stamp on.

Internally

All wiring has been overhauled, updated and renewed where necessary.
Ample sockets have been installed throughout.
New fused switch panels have been installed keeping all the electrical systems seperate and isolated.
240v inverter is installed .
New led light fittings throughout with additional 2 no. 240v decorative lights.
A 240v hook up cable is provided if needed.
USB and cigarette sockets fitted for convenience should u wish to charge electrical products.

All electrical fittings internally are modern stainless steel / chrome.

An extractor fan is fitted in the kitchen and in the bathroom celings and vent through the new mushroom vents above.
All mushroom vents have decorative chrome mesh insect screens fitted.

A new sureflo diaphrapm water pump is installed supplying water to the sinks & shower.

A brand new kitchen has been installed with a smev combined sink and twin gas hobs.
A brand new table top fridge has been installed over a table top freezer and microwave. All contained within a larder type cupboard.

A new bathroom suite is installed with wash hand basin, a quadrant sliding glass cubicle and thermostatic shower and a jabsco macerator toilet which pumps into a brand new unused soil 250litre water tank so u dont have to mess round with emptying toilet cassettes.

12v/240v 24" flat screen tv with intergal set top box built in.

Log / coal burner overhauled with new glass, fire resistant paint, fire lining bricks and gaskets. All mounted on new marble tile plinth.
A new black & chrome chimney with coolie hat is included.

New stainless steel wall sheeting installed behind fire place / flue for modern looks and safety.

A new 20kg bag of coal brickettes is included and stowed away.

This is one form of heating the boat with the addition of the eberspacher water system which can be programmed and heat the radiators.

Remote controlled LED underlighting has been installed under the gunnels on on side so u can change the lighting colour to suit ur mood..

New carbon monoxide detector and new fire extingushers installed.

Brand new carpet and cushion floor fitted throughout the boat.

A brand new black leather sofa bed is fitted to the front of the boat whilst a new mattress still in its poly cover is on the rear bed. The rear bed is designed to be used either as a single bed or u simply pull additonal 2 sections out making the bed a king size.

External doors have all stainless steel louvered vents and handles fitted.

Walls and Ceilings have been completely fitted out with expensive decorative upvc wall panelling to modernise the boat, This panelling makes it bright, clean and uplifting, its easy to clean, free from condensation as it provides additional thermal insulation.

The top walls are primarily white with a chrome fleck incorporated giving it a sparkle / rainbow reflection in various lighting.

The bottom walls are a black /dark blue marble effect.

The bed will pull out to make a double but at the moment there is a new single mattress on the boat. The settee is a double bed settee.
