Broker's Comments

Succeeding the highly successful Sadler 25, the 26 added to her elder sister's virtues by increasing accommodation space (headroom in particular) and conferring unsinkability through the use of buoyant foam injected into the void between inner and outer GRP mouldings. This example is a late model with much to recommend her: new standing rigging in 2011; new genoa in 2012. In the same year the engine was replaced with a new Beta Marine 16hp diesel, which has been run for about 70 hours to date. At the same time the prop, shaft and exhaust were all replaced. A 2011 survey is available which is approving of her general structural condition. Owner tells us all of the minor recommendations therein have been acted on with just a few outstanding.
